How easy are they to keep? Chilli Mosquito Rasbora fish may be small in size but big in beauty, which makes them very very desirable fish in the hobby. These fish are hardy and relatively easy to keep and they will appreciate some plants and bogwood for cover. They are shoaling fish and will do best in a small shoal of at least 6.
How big do they grow? Fully grown they will grow to 1".
What is the best-sized tank for these? We recommend a minimum of 30 litres for a small shoal of 5-6, however the bigger the better when it comes to fish tanks.
What is best to feed them? Due to their small mouths, best fed a crushed flake or small frozen foods such as Daphnia. Check out the different variety of foods available in our store
What water conditions do they require? Naturally Chilli Mosquito Rasbora come from quite acidic water however will tolerate a wide range of water conditions. We would recommend a pH of 7-7.3 and a temperature of 25C.
What can they be kept with? A great community fish can be kept with a variety of fish such as other Tetras, other Rasbora, shrimps and many more
